Rob Kennedy is currently a Software Development Manager at Amazon, a global technology company which focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.

Rob most recently was Director of Software Development at Vasont Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of TransPerfect, the World’s #1 language translation services company on track for $1 billion in fiscal revenue for 2021. He was responsible for all aspects of the company’s software development and engineering operations, focused on innovating and modernizing the company’s software products and organizational processes providing the best user experiences for Vasont’s customers as well as reducing costs and time to market via software development process optimization. His most recent project is leading the architecture, design, and development of GlobalLink Publisher, a new innovative product bringing traditional localized XML content publishing to the cloud.

Rob has 27+ years of IT experience in engineering and leadership positions across industries including Government Services, Defense, High Tech, Retail, and e-Commerce. He has extensive expertise in large-scale enterprise software systems including architecting SaaS cloud systems, business development, management and a passion about using technology in innovative ways to improve client processes and ROI.
